An Historian About... 17 December 2023
Hello again dear readers!
Well, we are now officially in the last few months of 2023. I have to admit, this has been a real doozy of a year. However, I’ve decided that this year overall will not ruin the holidays and I’ve been doing what I can to enjoy it. There has been much festive reading, I’ve been catching up on holiday movies and episodes (the Christmakkuh episode of The OC, anyone?). And I’ve been doing copious amounts of baking as it would not be the holiday season without butter-based treats.
I know that this can be a difficult time of year for many, and I hope that you are able to have a holiday season that is perfect for you. That might be peaceful, that might be non-stop energy, it might be exciting and new- whatever you want, I hope it is for you.
I also wanted to take this time to thank you for your support this year- it truly means a lot to me. I hope that I’m able to help add a little bit of history and culture into your life!
